People don’t get it.
Taylor’s not overrated. She’s not a drama queen. She’s just a girl who doesn’t quite understand the world, like you and me. She writes songs about what she’s going through, and connects with an endless number of people throughout the world. She’s honest. She doesn’t feel the need to show skin to sell her newest record. She doesn’t write songs about drugs, money and sex because that’s not who she is. I don’t think Taylor ever asked for fame. I think what Taylor truly wanted was to make people feel like they are not alone. Like they’re not the only ones who has a controlling boyfriend who can’t make up his mind. Like they’re not the only ones who finally says no to the person who keeps letting them down. Like they’re not the only ones who’s been fooled by the person they loved, because they were pretending to be someone they’re not. Yeah, so, go ahead. Hate. Taylor doesn’t have the biggest voice range, but you know what? She has the biggest heart. And in the end, that’s all that matters.
